- Representation and protection of interests of the customs authority of Almaty, carrying out targeted customs inspections of participants of foreign economic activity in respect of imported goods;
- Conducting inspections within the framework of post-customs control in respect of imported goods, confirmation of disputed amounts of customs duties, taxes and royalties in the amount of 20 million tenge;
- Conducting inspections of foreign economic activity participants in relation to goods imported on a temporary importation basis and confirmation of disputed customs duties and taxes in the total amount of 12 million KZT;
- Participation in court proceedings and recovery from FMCG companies of customs duties and taxes accrued as a result of inspections in the amount of about 90 million tenge;
- Providing recommendations to importers on the implementation of customs audit procedures, analysis of customs declarations on the volume and value of imported goods to determine customs payments, consulting on the existence of restrictions;
- Providing advice on royalty and license agreements to cosmetics companies to optimize the amount of customs duties and taxes;
- Advice to a distributor of a large foreign auto holding on optimization of car import procedure in the Eurasian Economic Union for further minimization of customs clearance costs;
- Successful representation of a major construction company in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan in connection with its appeal against the amounts of accrued customs payments in connection with the unlawful change in the commodity nomenclature code of foreign economic activity of goods by the customs authority. Based on the results of the complaint consideration, the State Revenue Department cancelled an earlier notice of additional assessment of over KZT500 mln;
- Successful representation in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan of interests of a large metal processing company in appeal against the amounts of accrued customs payments after changes in the method of determining the customs value of goods. Based on the results of complaint consideration, the Department of State Revenue cancelled an earlier notice for additional assessment of over 40 million Tenge;
- Successful representation of a major international company manufacturing equipment for the railroad industry before the judicial authorities of Kahastan. As a result of court proceedings, the amounts of over 2.6 billion Tenge assessed were declared unlawful and cancelled;
- Support of a customs audit of a major mining company (an ongoing project).
