On October 21, 2023, the library of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted an annual scientific conference on the topic: "Constitutional development of Kazakhstan as a democratic state: theory and practice" in honor of the renowned scientist, academician Sartayev Sultan. The Faculty of Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University invited Kazakh scientists, government and political figures to the conference, which aimed to commemorate the scientific legacy of Sultan Sartayev.
Sultan Sartayev was a prominent statesman whose role in the establishment of sovereign Kazakhstan and the creation of the country's first Constitution was invaluable. Academician Sultan Sartayev made a significant impact on the field of legal science and training of Kazakhstani lawyers.
In anticipation of Republic Day, the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law of KazNU organized a competition among law students for the best essay on the scientific legacy of Academician S.
