On 21 July 2017, GRATA International represented by Aliya Sholimova and Kanat Adilbekov in conjunction with the State Revenues Department in Astana, Chamber of Entrepreneurs in Astana, and Central House of Accountants LLP held a free workshop on: 'Changes in the Tax Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan As Effective From 1 July 2017'.

The workshop covered the main changes in the Tax Code, which came into force on 1 July 2017, in particular, 'Obligatory Social Health Insurance' (OSHI), as well as outlined changes in the preparation of tax reports (forms 200.00 and 910.00).

In addition to the above, the event discussed topics related to changes in the Tax Code on tax audits.

GRATA International counsels - Kanat Adilbekov and Aliya Sholimova, spoke on: 'Appealing the Results of Tax Control and Appeal to the Specialised Judicial Panel of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan' (investment disputes).

A professional accountant of Central House of Accountants LLP, tax and accounting adviser - Anna Vdovchenko, explained the practical application of e-invoices in detail.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and get prompt answers.
