GRATA International Senior Associates, Danil Gavrin and Bolat Asylkhanov, took part in the X Forum of Kazakhstan Machinery Manufacturers "Machinery in Kazakhstan: Challenges of the New Times", which was held in Astana on September 22 and lasted until September 23, 2022.
Within the framework of the Forum, various issues were raised on the development of mechanical engineering in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main topic of discussion was issues related to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Industrial Policy", the reduction of bureaucracy in the engineering industry, the transition to Industry 4.0. Also further plans for the development of the industry, the lack of raw materials for manufacturers, as well as many other issues of the development of engineering in the country were discussed.
The Forum was attended by representatives of Kazakhstani and foreign business. Organizational support for the event was provided by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
