In comparison to the last year`s rankings, Kazakhstan has improved its position by climbing 16 positions, from 51st to 35th.

Worth noting is Protecting Minority Investors category where Kazakhstan achieved 3rd place globally.

The biggest progress was made in Dealing with Construction Permits, which witnessed Kazakhstan rising from 78th to 22nd place, surpassing 56 countries.

The annual rating of ease of doing business is based on several criteria. Among them are ease of Starting a Business , Registering Property , Getting Credit, Enforcing Contracts and others.
