Kazakhstan is placed 35th in Doing Business 2017 rankings by World Bank and International Finance Corporation

Kazakhstan is placed 35th in Doing Business 2017 rankings

In comparison to the last year`s rankings, Kazakhstan has improved its position by climbing 16 positions, from 51st to 35th.

Worth noting is Protecting Minority Investors category where Kazakhstan achieved 3rd place globally.

The biggest progress was made in Dealing with Construction Permits, which witnessed Kazakhstan rising from 78th to 22nd place, surpassing 56 countries.

Lawyers of GRATA International have provided considerable assistance to the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation in the research process and finding respondents.

The annual rating of ease of doing business is based on several criteria. Among them are ease of Starting a Business , Registering Property , Getting Credit, Enforcing Contracts and others. The 14th issue of Doing Business report was published by the World Bank and International Finance Corporation and it covered 190 countries.
