Major agreements on key oil and gas projects of Uzbekistan were signed
Signing of major agreements in the oil and gas sector of Uzbekistan was held on 6 April 2021. Between the Ministries of energy, Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, JSC “Uztransgaz” and VEB.RF, “Gazprombank” and JSC “EKSAR” signed a memorandum on mutual understanding on the organization of financing of the project “Modernization of gas transportation system”.

A new renewable and hydrogen energy strategy was adopted in Uzbekistan

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the Resolution “On the Organization of Activities of the State Enterprise “Navoiuran”, JSC “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine” and the State Institution “Fund of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine” No.170 dated on 30 March 2021 (the “Resolution No.170”).
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted the Resolution “On measures for further improvement of the system of capital market regulation”
The Capital Market Development Agency (the “Agency”) is abolished in accordance with the Resolution of the President “On Measures for Further Improvement of the Capital Market Regulatory System” No.ПП-5073 dated 13 April 2021 (the “Resolution No.ПП-5073”). The Ministry of Finance has succeeded to all rights, obligations and treaties of the Agency.
