IV International Investment Forum Almaty Invest 2016 will be held on December 8-9, 2016 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event is organized by Almaty City Administration and will focus on investment opportunities in Almaty.
The annual Almaty Invest Forum will bring together over 500 high-level participants, including state representatives, world and domestic business leaders, executives of financial institutions, investment corporations and international organizations.
The main agenda of the Forum is stimulation of development of business, expansion of investment opportunities for both local and international investors and evolvement of Almaty into regional economic hub of the new Silk Road and strategic market for global corporations and retailers in Central Asia.
Shaimerden Chikanayev, Partner at GRATA International law firm will be the moderator of the Public Private Partnership section.
Mr. Chikanayev received his LL.M. from the Duke University School of Law (USA), his bachelor degree in law from the Eurasian National University Faculty of Law (Kazakhstan) and completed non-degree course of studies for foreign diplomats in the China Foreign Affairs University (PRC).
Mr. Chikanayev focuses his practice on a wide range of finance and M&A transactions, including project finance and capital markets, infrastructure transactions, and workouts and restructurings in many industries.
