According to the presidential decree "on additional measures to accelerate the development of tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan", for citizens of 109 countries obtaining a residence permit is simplified. To do this, you need to purchase real estate in:

- The Republic of Karakalpakstan and other regions of the Republic – in the equivalent of not less than 100 thousand us dollars.

- Samarkand, Bukhara, Namangan, Andijan, Fergana, and Khorezm regions-in the equivalent of not less than 200 thousand us dollars;

- Tashkent region and the city of Tashkent in the amount in the equivalent of at least 400 thousand us dollars;

A residence permit certifies the right of a foreign citizen or stateless person to reside permanently in Uzbekistan. The residence permit is issued for five years with the possibility of extension.
