A procedure for issuing permits to carry out mining activities has been established in Uzbekistan
In accordance with the Order of the Director of the National Agency for Prospective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated September 29, 2023 the Regulation on the procedure for issuing permission to engage in activities in the field of mining was approved.
Reform in the field of railway transport has been launched in Uzbekistan
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted Resolution No. ПП-329 dated October 10, 2023, which sets priority tasks for reforming railway transport. They include attracting private investment, accelerating the digital transformation of the sector and improving the financial position of enterprises. It is also important to create freedom of choice of wagon operators for entrepreneurs who provide rail transportation services.

On September 19, 2022, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (“HKIAC”) and the Tashkent International Arbitration Centre (“TIAC”) by virtue of which the TIAC-HKIAC Cross-Institutional Arbitration Rules were adopted (the “Rules”). The Rules entered into force immediately thereafter, in September 2022.

The Regulation for the provision of public services for the inclusion of an audit organization in the state register has been approved
In order to improve the market for audit services and simplify the procedure for providing public services, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Decree “On Approval of the Administrative Regulation for the Provision of Public Services for Inclusion of an Audit Organization in the Register of Audit Organizations” No. 387 dated August 15, 2023 (the “Resolution No. 387”).

Uzbekistan has simplified the procedure for the voluntary liquidation of a business
