Leader of Egypt arrived in Uzbekistan on 4 September with an official visit. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met the head of Egypt at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov. Following the negotiations in Kuksaroy residence, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil el-Sisi adopted the Joint Statement.
