Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine (the "NGMK") will be reorganized into a joint stock company and will cease to be a state enterprise.

A round table was held in Tashkent to clarify the provisions of the tender documentation of a pilot public-private partnership (PPP) project on attracting investments to finance, build and operate a solar photovoltaic station with a capacity of up to 100 MW in Navoi region. This is the first phase of the planned project with a total capacity of up to 1000 megawatts.

The EBRD supports the development and strengthening of local capital markets within the framework of the current reform program of Uzbekistan to ensure openness of the economy.

The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On additional measures for implementing the Concept of ensuring road safety in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2018–2022” was published.
