Zulfiya is Representative of GRATA Law Firm in the United States, New York. She has extensive experience in corporate, finance, commercial, investment and banking law.
As a Lawyer of Finance and Securities Department of GRATA Law Firm, Zulfiya assisted in various operations, including but not limited to advising international lenders in relation to loans to Kazakh banks, issues surrounding participation in the Kazakh securities market, guarantees and collaterals.
Before joining GRATA Zulfiya worked as a Consultant on European and Commonwealth of Independent States market for a large international trading company - Trilini International Ltd.
Zulfiya has work experience in diplomatic structures.
Zulfiya has Kazak and international education. In 2006 she successfully graduated from Fordham University School of Law in New York with a Master’s Degree (LLM) in International Business and Trade Law. In addition, Zulfiya holds a Master’s Degree in Law from Warsaw University Institute of International Law with a specialisation in EU law.
Zulfiya has undertaken courses and participated at seminars and conference related to different legal areas in Kazakhstan, Russian Federation and USA, including antitrust law, corporate law, securities regulations and Islamic financing.
Zulfiya fluently speaks English, Polish, Kazakh and Russian languages.
