On June 26, 2020 was held the Astana Legal Forum. The forum was held in 3 parallel sections in an online format.
The speakers were:
- Assel Ilyassova, Partner of GRATA International with the topic: “Practice of application by tax authorities of Article 653 of the Tax Code: taxation of income of a non-resident with a registered permanent establishment in Kazakhstan”;
- Makhmetova Leila, Counsel of GRATA International with the topic: “Overview of the main provisions of the draft new Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Compensation of environmental damage under the draft new Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan”;
- Igor Lukin, Partner of GRATA International with the topic: “Recent Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan“ On State Registration of Legal Entities and Accounting Registration of Branches and Representative Offices ”;
- Zhumekenova Aliya, Counsel of GRATA International with the topic: “Legal aspects of issues on vaccination of the population in Kazakhstan”;
- The moderator of the session: “Practical question-answer session with the judges of the SIEC” was Almat Daumov, Partner of GRATA International.
The Forum was attended by over 50 speakers, and more than 1000 participants.
