On 28 November 2017 in Almaty GRATA International organised a practical seminar:  Roadmap to Profitable Small Hydro Power Plant Development, together with international engineering firm  ILF Consulting Engineers.

During the seminar, Marina Kahiani, Partner of GRATA International, and Leila Makhmetova, Counsel of GRATA International, described their experience in connection with development of power plants in Kazakhstan, and discussed legal and practical aspects of implementation of hydro power projects in Kazakhstan, including environmental matters and financing.

Presentations were followed by intensive discussion among the speakers and participants.
