On 12 May 2017 in Astana GRATA International organised a practical seminar:  Dispute Resolution In Infrastructure Projects together with German engineering firm  ILF Consulting Engineers.

More than 40 people have attended the seminar, including representatives of largest companies such as KazMunaiGas, Zhaikmunai, KATKO and many other. Welcome speeches at the event were made by Dr. Gerhard Sailler, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Jonatan Weinberg, First Secretary, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany.

During the seminar, Yerzhan Yessimkhanov, Partner, Head of Construction & Infrastructure Practice of GRATA International, commented on use of EPC contracts in Kazakhstan, and Bakhyt Tukulov, Partner, Head of Litigation Practice of GRATA International, described his experience in litigating in infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan. Representatives of  ILF Consulting Engineers provided their vision of claim management under EPC Contracts, and International/English law under EPC Contracts.

Presentations were followed by intensive discussion among the speakers and participants.
