On approval of the Instructions on remote identification and remote updating (actualization) procedures

This document approved the Instruction on remote identification and remote updating (actualization) procedures.

Remote identification is the ascertainment of customers’ and their representatives’ data without their personal presence – by means of photo and/or video recording of the client’s face, as well as an identity document in the course of one common video session.

The information obtained will be used in further decisions by system’s users (in particular the National Bank, banks and non-bank credit and financial organizations) on the conclusion of contracts and the provision of services for clients without their personal appearance.
