The Decision #236 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 3, 2020 proclaims an extension of the special quarantine regime in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Under this Decision, the special quarantine regime in the country has been extended until July 20, 2020.
Additional measures to tighten the special quarantine regime in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Masalli, Jalilabad cities and Absheron region as well as Goranboy, Goygol, Mingachevir, Barda, Khachmaz, Samukh, Siyazan and Sheki districts.
The Decision #236 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 3, 2020 proclaims additional measures to tighten the special quarantine regime in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Masalli, Jalilabad cities and Absheron region as well as Goranboy, Goygol, Mingachevir, Barda, Khachmaz, Samukh, Siyazan and Sheki districts.
The Baku metro will suspend its activity from 00:00 (GMT+4) July 4, 2020 through 06:00 (GMT+4) July 20, 2020.
The entire public transport will not operate on weekends on the following dates in cities and districts in which the special quarantine regime has been tightened:
from 00:00 (GMT+4) July 4 to 06:00 (GMT+4) July 6;
from 00:00 (GMT+4) July 11 to 06:00 (GMT+4) July 13;
from 00:00 (GMT+4) July 18 to 06:00 (GMT+4) July 20.
As part of the measures aimed to reduce the spread of the virus, it is forbidden to gather in public places for more than 5 people (excluding close relatives, i.e parents, grandparents, children and siblings) throughout the country, including streets and boulevards.
Under this Decision, some restrictions to be applied in the territory of Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Masalli, Jalilabad cities and Absheron region as well as Goranboy, Goygol, Mingachevir, Barda, Khachmaz, Samukh, Siyazan and Sheki districts from July 4, 2020 to July 20, 2020.
In order to obtain a permit to leave the place of the residence, individuals must send an SMS to 8103 or receive it through the “E-Tabib” mobile application (in connection with the difficulties caused by the usage of the mobile application “E-Tabib” call to the Call Center 8113).
