The continuing development and close economic links between countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (Russian Federation, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Belarus, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Armenia), and close historic ties between CIS countries encourage constant cooperation between the countries, increase the volume of mutual trade and number of business projects between the companies from these countries.
In Uzbekistan the right to lease forest lands shall be granted through auction
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On Amendments and Additions to the Regulation on the Procedure of Granting of Land Leases of the State Forest Fund” No.50 dated February 3, 2021 (hereinafter – the “Resolution No.50”), the right to lease a land plot of the Forest Fund shall be sold through auction.
New Industrial Technology Park “Yangihayot” in Tashkent
Under the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for the creation of the industrial technical park “Yangihayot” in Tashkent” No.PP-4979 dated February 4, 2021, a new industrial technology park with a land plot of 210 hectares will be built in the district of Yangihayot of Tashkent (hereinafter – the “Resolution No.PP-4979”).
Amendments in the procedure for public procurement in the construction sector of Uzbekistan
Within the framework of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to improve the procedure for organizing and conducting electronic public procurement in the construction sector” No.55 dated February 5, 2021, a new public procurement system has been introduced.

On January 14, 2021, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan” No.ZRU-666 was adopted. Article 13 of this Law supplements the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data" (hereinafter – the “Law”). Thus, the Law now contains article 271 entitled "Special conditions for the processing of personal data of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

On February 4, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved the Government Program for 2021 (hereinafter – the “Program”). The Program provides for the implementation of projects for the total amount of UZS 29,5 trillion, USD 2,6 billion and EUR 57,3 million.
