The mandatory registration of labor contracts is introduced from 2020 in Uzbekistan

In Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No.971 dated December 5, 2019 a mechanism is being introduced to work with the interdepartmental hardware-software complex Unified National Labor System (UNLS).

According to the Decree of the President No. ПП-4502 dated October 31, 2019, new labor contracts must be registered in UNLS from January 1, 2020, and the existing ones must be changed or terminated till September 1, 2020. Registration of labor relations in UNLS is mandatory for all employers.
