The article is devoted to the legal regulation of relations in the sphere of shared construction of non-residential premises. It investigates the legal nature of the contract for the creation of an object of shared construction, concluded in relation to the construction of non-residential premises and considers the requirements to the form and the essential conditions of this agreement. Additionally, a definition of the «contract for the creation of a shared construction object» is given in regard to both residential and non-residential premises. In the end of the article, a list of essential conditions for such agreement is proposed.

The present article is devoted to the examination of the legal nature of an investment contract and determination of its place within the system of civil law contracts.
