The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had issued a Decree on approval the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Amendments to the Tax Code that was adopted by Milli Mejlis ( December 30, 2020).
Shah Deniz begins gas deliveries to Europe
On 31st December 2020, the Shah Deniz consortium announced commencement of commercial gas deliveries to Europe from the Shah Deniz gas field in the Caspian Sea offshore Azerbaijan via the newly completed Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) pipeline system.
