GRATA International hosted an online conference: "Changes in corporate legislation and practice"
On May 20, 2021, eight jurisdictions of GRATA International presented topics on Corporate Law. The conference was held online in 3 parallel sessions through the ZOOM platform. At the end of their speeches, leading lawyers answered questions of interest to the audience.
A copy of the internet resource
Currently, the Ministry of Information is forming a list of Internet resources, access to which were blocked. In this regard, a new term "a copy of the Internet resource" was introduced in the Regulation on the procedure for blocking (restoring) access to the Internet resource.
New import customs duties on goods from Vietnam
Currently, there is a Free Trade Agreement between the EAEU and Vietnam. In the development of this Agreement the Decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board № 36 «On the application of the rates of import customs duties for products originating in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union» was adopted.
New reasons for deferred appraisal of customs value of goods
Sometimes when goods are imported into the territory of the EAEU and a customs entry is completed, it is not possible to provide an accurate customs value. In this situation, the procedure for deferred appraisal of customs value of goods will be applied.
New refinance rate
April 21, 2021, the refinance rate of the National Bank has been set at 8.5% per annum (previously the rate was 7.75% per annum).
Restrictions for certain groups of goods for import into the territory of Belarus
On April 12, 2021, the Edict came into force, establishing some restrictions:
- import and realization on the territory of Belarus certain groups of goods (including goods of certain manufacturers), the country of origin of which are the state and (or) the association of states, which have decided the imposition of special measures in respect of Belarusian legal entities and (or) individuals or have acceded to them
Restrictions on the export of cereals
On April 16, 2021, the Government established a prohibition on the export of the following goods outside Belarus, including to the EAEU (regardless of the country of origin): wheat and meslin; rye, barley, oats, corn, buckwheat, millet, triticale, and other cereals (it is necessary to control the code of the CN of FEA).
Submission of information on the income of individuals - a single database
On April 10, 2021, a resolution of the Council of ministers came into force, which defined the functioning of the AIS accounting of personal income. The owner of the AIS will be the Ministry of Taxation.
