Amendments to the Civil Code of Belarus
On November 18, 2023, after two years of waiting, amendments to the Civil Code of Belarus were published (hereinafter referred to as the new version of the Civil Code). They affected almost all the current regulation, starting with the registration of a company, ending with its economic activity and liquidation. The changes will take effect from 19.11.2024.
The distance-based retail of drugs is allowed in Belarus
On May 3, 2023, the Ministry of Health of Belarus adopted Resolution No. 69, which defines the procedure for online retail of drugs. It includes not only the receipt of orders for drugs, their generation, storage and delivery to the customer but also pharmaceutical consulting to the customer
Information for entities involved in retail sales of non-tobacco nicotine products and e-smoking system liquids
From July 1, 2023, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs must obtain a license for retail sales of nicotine products and e-smoking system liquids. This requirement applies to both existing and newly established companies.
Supplementary regulation for a license granting: determination of documentation for licensing
The new Law on Licensing acts since January 1, 2023, which caused the need to adopt a Government resolution regulating the procedural issues of licensing. It defines the documents required to obtain a license, the requirements for the documents depending on the type of licensed activity, and the confirmation of granting the license. 
Compulsory license and parallel import are introduced in Belarus
The Law No. 241-Z of January 3, 2023 adopted provisions which allow using certain IP objects without the consent of the right holder or an organization for collective management of property rights.
Registration rules for participants of a special regime in the sphere of crypto assets turnover have been approved in Uzbekistan

Suspension of access to the Beneficial Owners Register for the general public
The Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property announced yesterday that access to the Register of Beneficial Owners for the general public is suspended.  This comes as a result of the landmark  Judgement of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEE) in joined cases C-37/20 and C-601/20, of November 22 2022.
New Law "On licensing"
Till January 1, 2023 licensed activity is regulated by the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated 01.09.2010 № 450 "About licensing of some types of activity". Since January 1, 2023 licensed activity will be regulated by the Law "On licensing".

State registration of a Limited Liability Company, at the request of the applicant, can be carried out in emergency mode within 4 hours.
On the approval of acts regulating certain issues in the field of gambling
Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated August 1, 2022 N 440 approved the Regulations on state regulation of gambling activities, on licensing gambling activities, on the procedure for reporting and disclosing information by gambling entities.
