Under the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for the creation of the industrial technical park “Yangihayot” in Tashkent” No.PP-4979 dated February 4, 2021, a new industrial technology park with a land plot of 210 hectares will be built in the district of Yangihayot of Tashkent (hereinafter – the “Resolution No.PP-4979”).

Within the framework of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to improve the procedure for organizing and conducting electronic public procurement in the construction sector” No.55 dated February 5, 2021, a new public procurement system has been introduced.

On January 14, 2021, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan” No.ZRU-666 was adopted. Article 13 of this Law supplements the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data" (hereinafter – the “Law”). Thus, the Law now contains article 271 entitled "Special conditions for the processing of personal data of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

On February 4, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved the Government Program for 2021 (hereinafter – the “Program”). The Program provides for the implementation of projects for the total amount of UZS 29,5 trillion, USD 2,6 billion and EUR 57,3 million.

A draft new edition of the Civil Code has been submitted to the project discussion portal. The new edition will come into force from January 1, 2022.

The Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan discussed and approved a new edition of the Law “On audit activity” (hereinafter – the “Law in a new edition”) during its twelfth plenary meeting on February 5, 2021. The Law in a new edition was developed in order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President “On measures for the further development of audit activity in the Republic of Uzbekistan” No.PP-3946 dated September 19, 2018.
