President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed three laws on ratification of international documents.

In particular, the head of Uzbekistan signed the law “On ratification of the Paris Agreement (Paris, 12 December 2015)”.

The Paris Climate Agreement was adopted on December 12, 2015 following the 21st Conference of the Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Paris. The climate agreement developed in Paris for the first time in history united the efforts of all world powers to contain climate change.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev also approved the law “On ratification of the Amendment to the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (Abidjan, 10–11 July 2017)”.

The law “On ratification of the Charter and the Rules of Procedure of the Institute of Standards and Metrology of Islamic Countries (Istanbul, 7 November 1999 with amendments from 7 May 2017)” was also signed.
